Flexible hours as the department operates 8am to 8:30pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 4pm on Saturday. Participation in on-call duties is also required.

About the Role
The post holder will work closely with colleagues to manage the day-to-day running of the area they are assigned to, liaising with other teams and staff members to ensure the effective use of the imaging service. You will adhere to Trust and departmental protocols, ensuring compliance with IRMER2017 and IRR17 regulations at all times. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all patient radiation doses are kept as low as reasonably practicable and that every exposure is justified. You will also ensure the safety of all patients and staff entering radiation-controlled areas, keep accurate patient records, and manage patient images on PACS. Experience
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.

You should be a dedicated professional with a commitment to patient safety and care. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential.
Qualifications
A relevant qualification in Radiography is required. Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is also necessary.
