About the Role
The Cognus Paving the Way service is a multi-disciplinary team providing a wide range of support for children and young people facing various difficulties. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Behaviour Specialist to join our team. This role involves offering support and advice to children and young people experiencing challenges such as behavioural and emotional regulation, social communication, attention and concentration difficulties, anxiety, and low mood. You will also provide guidance to parents, carers, and schools, working across diverse settings including schools, family homes, and community environments.

You will be passionate about helping children and families, skilled in assessing needs, and capable of developing effective support plans to help overcome difficulties. The ideal candidate enjoys a varied workload, is organised, child and family centred, and has a strong understanding and experience of multi-agency working.

Experience
Proven experience working with children and young people facing behavioural and emotional challenges. Experience in multi-agency collaboration is essential.
