About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Broker to join our growing International Casualty Direct & Facultative (D&F) team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing complex placements, developing client relationships, and contributing to the continued growth and strategic direction of our global D&F offering. Working alongside a highly experienced team, you will collaborate with clients, underwriters, and colleagues across our international network to deliver innovative placement solutions while supporting business development initiatives.
The Role includes building a strong understanding of clients' businesses, risk profiles, and insurance requirements to deliver tailored placement solutions. You will develop and execute effective placement strategies by identifying appropriate markets and negotiating with insurers and reinsurers. Managing and strengthening relationships with clients, underwriters, and internal stakeholders across the business is key.
You will support the preparation of client presentations, programme structures, pricing models, and placement documentation. Working closely with Account Executives and Sales teams, you will structure competitive and profitable solutions. Identifying opportunities to retain, grow, and develop existing client relationships while supporting new business initiatives is essential.
Maintaining a strong pipeline of prospects, contributing to business development activity, and supporting responses to new business opportunities and RFPs will be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with colleagues across specialist teams to deliver technical expertise and cross-selling opportunities is expected.
Ensuring all placements and documentation comply with regulatory requirements, internal governance, and contract certainty standards is critical. You will maintain accurate records across relevant systems and contribute to continuous process improvement. Staying up to date with market developments, products, and industry trends to provide expert advice to clients is also required.
