About the Role
Join as an Account Executive - FINEX within the WTW Financial Institutions team. You will be responsible for a portfolio of predominantly UK-based clients and prospects, with accountability for client retention, servicing, and new business development. The successful candidate will manage and develop client and WTW relationships, growing the portfolio within the business unit.
Client Relationship Management
Understand clients’ business and risk management needs and deliver solutions through ongoing service. Apply and explain BU policies and procedures as needed. Establish and maintain active relationships with clients and retail offices. Provide technical, industry, and subject matter expertise. Collaborate with specialist technical teams within the BU and across the Group. Liaise with clients to build strong relationships. Determine appropriate solutions, structure, pricing, and placement strategies that meet client needs and deliver profitable business. Grow the existing portfolio by identifying new and existing opportunities.
Business Development
Support the sales process and business area practice activity to win, retain, and develop profitable new clients. Assist with prospect research, initiating contact, meetings, responding to RFPs, new business presentations, and maintaining the CRM database to create and convert sales opportunities. Respond quickly and accurately to new business introductions. Identify opportunities for account penetration and cross-selling by working with colleagues across the business. Maintain knowledge of relevant products and services offered by Willis.
Placement Management
Ensure transparency of agency and other commitments made to carriers and clients. Manage compliant processing of contracts in line with FCA and contract certainty requirements. Assist with data loading into relevant WTW systems. Review policies, market presentations, and client documentation as appropriate. Lead and deliver end-to-end ongoing client service, adhering to standardized policies, procedures, and service standards.
Operational and Service Delivery
Proactively develop appropriate solutions and proposals to ensure optimum client retention. Communicate effectively and develop service plans defining client engagement timing. Manage KPIs/SLAs to meet targets. Ensure adherence to Group policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Provide feedback on corrective actions to retain clients or enhance process performance and support implementation.
Other Responsibilities
Support Willis management in managing BU risks. Perform other duties commensurate with position or level of responsibility. Maintain relevant qualifications required for the role.
Experience
Relevant years of Financial Institutions insurance industry experience. Proven track record of delivering high levels of client service. Strong technical knowledge of core insurance classes including Crime, Computer Crime, Professional Indemnity, and Directors and Officers Liability for Financial Institutions. Skilled at building effective relationships at all levels with clients, prospects, associates, insurers, and external specialists. Experience working with and adhering to processes and systems to support client service delivery. Knowledge of global insurance markets to effectively address client and Willis needs.

Qualifications
Holds all regulatory licenses, permissions, and technical or other requirements applicable under UK regulations. Preferably ACII qualified or working towards the ACII qualification.
