About the Role
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join WTW as a Broker within the International team in Direct GB, working with clients globally. The role involves understanding clients’ businesses, situations, opportunities, challenges, and key issues to deliver appropriate solutions, structure, pricing, and placement strategies that meet client needs and generate profitable business. You will manage relationships and negotiate placements with the (re)insurance market, prepare client and prospect presentations, and collaborate with Account Executives and the Sales Team to structure and price deals aligned with client requirements. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining a pipeline of prospects through research, initiating contact, meetings, responding to RFPs, and managing CRM data. You will identify appropriate markets and build relationships with underwriters in London and international markets, grow the existing portfolio by identifying new and existing opportunities, and manage stakeholder relationships globally. The role also requires ensuring compliant processing of contracts per FCA and contract certainty requirements, handling slips via the PPL Platform, maintaining information in the Broking Platform system, and providing feedback to improve client retention and process performance.

Experience
Proven track record in Insurance Broking or Underwriting. Good knowledge of the (re)insurance market, specifically Property. Prior experience in retail, reinsurance, or retrocession property placements is highly valuable. Experience across other lines of business is advantageous.

Qualifications
ACII qualified or working towards ACII qualification. Proficient computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Good IT skills with excellent Excel capabilities. Experience with MS Office and Power BI is preferable but not essential.
