Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Building Safety Manager on a Permanent basis. You will be expected to work on a locality basis with a number of buildings to oversee. There may be some resident engagement activity required out of office hours
A bit about the role:
As a Building Safety Manager, you will take the lead as and when required, making decisions based on the best practice and with residents at the heart of your decisions. The role will also require lone working and a fair degree of autonomy so self-discipline is a must.
Some of the key results for the role include:

Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe homes. Liaising with operational teams to resolve risks of any serious and/or imminent danger and prioritise actions arising from Building Safety inspections to attend to the most significant issues first.
Working with other teams to monitor and improve internal procedures to ensure that adequate control measures are in place to maintain a safe environment for both residents and staff.
Provide support and training to colleagues with responsibilities for the management of fire or structural safety. Helping support the development of a Building Safety culture across the organisation.
Advising and supporting our customers in resolving their queries and issues, ensuring that their expectations are managed, and proactive resolutions are identified
This role will require a UK driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
