Finance Assistant
Location
Westminster Bridge Rd, London
Hours
Full Time (hours not specified)
Salary
£34,000 per annum
About the Role
Your typical day could start by reconciling complex bank statements across multiple entities, ensuring every transaction is accurate and accounted for. Later, you might be preparing journals, assisting with month-end close, or responding to finance queries with clear, insightful analysis. You’ll work closely with colleagues in Central Finance and other departments, supporting our mission to deliver first-rate financial services that underpin everything we do at Peabody.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of Peabody’s banking and transactional finance processes. You’ll manage reconciliations, post journals, and support audit and compliance activities — all while providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
This is a hands-on role that requires someone who can hit the ground running. You’ll be confident using financial systems, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements.
Working collaboratively with your Finance colleagues, you’ll help maintain accuracy, efficiency, and transparency across our accounts, ensuring deadlines are met and information is reliable, timely, and audit ready.
If you’re analytical, adaptable, and ready to make a meaningful impact from day one, we want to hear from you.
