About the Role
Join the world's largest Private Equity, Private Credit & Venture Capital series as a Business Development Manager for the fast-growing, market-leading SuperReturn series. Based in our Blackfriars office, this full-time hybrid role involves developing and executing sponsorship sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across the private equity, private credit, and venture capital ecosystem, and identifying new business opportunities. You will manage client portfolios, negotiate contracts, and create tailored sponsorship packages that deliver exceptional value. Daily responsibilities include market research, strategic planning, client outreach, coordinating with internal teams, attending industry events, and preparing presentations to support business decisions and strategies. Represent SuperReturn at industry events and client meetings to strengthen our market presence and grow sponsorship revenue.

Requirements

Experience
- Consultative sales approach with strong relationship-building skills
- Experience identifying business opportunities and developing client relationships
- Strategic thinking and excellent negotiation abilities
- Experience in event management or financial services, ideally private equity or venture capital
- Proven ability to manage portfolios, grow client spends, and negotiate contracts
- Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools

About you
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a consultative, customer-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
- Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry conferences
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with excellent grammar and spelling
- Ability to create and maintain positive and effective relationships with sales teams and internal colleagues
- Good analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications
- Experience in market research and strategic planning is advantageous
- Background in private equity, venture capital, or related financial services preferred but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to influence and manage sales budgets and campaigns
