About the Role
Informa TechTarget is seeking an ambitious journalist to join the Accountancy Age team in the UK, reporting to the editor. You will produce news, analysis, feature, and multimedia content for an audience of UK and European accounting and finance professionals. The role involves writing articles, conducting interviews, reporting on accountancy and finance issues, and developing industry contacts. You will collaborate with UK and US editorial teams to execute content strategies and leverage social media and online communities to enhance site visibility. The position requires attending relevant UK and international conferences and events, using content management and reporting tools, and applying search engine and AI optimisation techniques to all content produced. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a well-established media brand and help build its position as a multimedia digital publication.

Experience
Experience covering a business-oriented beat, preferably in accounting, finance, or general business journalism. Candidates should have a year or two of reporting experience or be recent graduates with relevant internships or work experience at business titles.

About you
Strong organisational and management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with editorial teams based in the UK and US. Comfortable learning new concepts and writing for a business audience. Experience with multimedia content (video, audio, photo) and social media platforms is desirable.

Qualifications
A recognised journalism qualification such as NCTJ, or a university journalism graduate or postgraduate degree. Knowledge of news writing and editing fundamentals and ethics, with the ability to produce clear, concise copy. Experience with online production and reporting systems is preferred.
