Description
This is a great opportunity for the right candidates to join the Construction, Maintenance and Facilities Management (CMFM) department within the Place Department of Enfield Council; a department with wide ranging responsibilities for managing a diverse £1bn+ property portfolio, including, offices, commercial, industrial, retail, cultural and leisure.
The post of Business Support Officer will provide service desk duties to the repairs and maintenance department for the Councils property portfolio. The Business Support Officer will act as the point of contact for repairs and maintenance requests and manage all requests coming through to the helpdesk, ensuring that these are all dealt with within target times. This post will answer calls from stakeholders within the council relating to facilities requests, raise tasks to the council’s service providers and log information onto the Council’s AMS (Asset management system), as well as assign internal Facilities teams. The post holder will produce reports as required and support departmental colleagues in raising orders and stock, ensuring that they are well informed in the process.
To succeed in this role, you will have excellent customer service skills and a proactive work ethic. Experience of facilities management is beneficial.
