Are you someone who thrives on helping others and providing excellent customer service? Are you organised, a great communicator, and able to handle a wide range of tasks to support both customers and colleagues? If this sounds like you, then you could be a Business Support Officer with us!
As a Business Support Officer, you'll play a vital role in providing advice and assistance to residents, working closely with our local housing teams to ensure we deliver on our promises. You’ll be managing household change and mutual exchange request, assisting with assignments, successions, raising purchase orders and receipting invoices, assisting our regional teams, and making sure our customers and colleagues feel supported.
With a focus on providing a 'right first time' approach, you’ll help with everything from resident enquiries to colleague requests and even update our housing systems with tenancy changes. Your attention to detail and organisation will help ensure that records are kept accurate and up-to-date, and that the office runs smoothly, reducing the administrative burden on the wider team.
Could it be you?
To be a success in this role, you’re:
experienced in working in a customer facing role
experienced in providing business administration support to front line teams
experienced in applying housing policy and procedures, such as: Successions and Assignments, Mutual Exchanges, Tenancy Changes
a strong communicator, both written and verbally
highly organised with strong minute-taking and IT skills, including Microsoft packages
