Are you currently holding a position in a customer facing environment dealing with debt collection ideally in a housing environment or similar?
Do you possess understanding and experience in rent arrears, possession action including attending court and evictions?
Do you have a proven understanding and experience in welfare benefits, universal credit and housing benefit?
Are you confident in using all Microsoft packages?
Do you have proven time management, negotiation, and prioritisation skills?
Have you the ability to work under pressure in a target focused environment?
Are you a collaborative individual focused on achieving the common goal?

Here at Peabody, we have a number of opportunities for a Collections Officer on a permanent basis at our Ealing offices.
A bit about the role:
As a Collections Officer, you will be the first point of contact for effectively managing tenant arrears with a strong focus on income collection maximisation and customer relations. Exhausting a set of agreed policies and procedures and through using data to ensure the delivery of a rent collection and arrears service which meets targets whilst helping customers to manage debt and sustain their tenancies.. Some of the key results for the role include:
Maximising cash collection, reducing rent arrears and preventing evictions and thereby sustaining tenancies
Embodying Peabody’s values and demonstrating excellent customer service
Adapting to changing internal and external factors and legislation and maximising collaboration with the Financial Inclusion and support teams.
This role will require a UK driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
