Description
Your typical day as a Commercial Analyst could start by diving into cost management, analysing large volumes of work orders with NAT FED SOR codes to ensure all costs are accurately tracked and managed. After that, you might meet with sub-contractors to discuss project details and resolve any issues, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication. Later, you could be preparing and presenting a financial report, showcasing your Excel skills to provide valuable insights to the business. As a Commercial Analyst at Peabody, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the Investment, Voids, and Repairs & Maintenance teams. Your focus will be on true job costing—managing the costs of all work orders, including operative, supply chain, and material costs, while ensuring every value associated with the order is captured. No two days are the same, and your work will directly impact the quality and efficiency of our services. You’re someone who thrives on accuracy and enjoys the challenge of complex data. You’ll collaborate closely with other teams, building strong relationships that help you find innovative solutions to financial challenges. You’ll spend most of your time working from our Westminster Bridge Road office, but with the flexibility to work from our Walthamstow office if that suits you better. Your role will encompass everything from preparing interim valuations and re-measuring variations to producing weekly applications, invoices, and monthly financial reports. If you’re detail-oriented, enjoy problem-solving, and are committed to supporting our teams to deliver excellent services, we want to hear from you. To be successful in this role, you’re: Experienced in working with NAT FED SOR codes and large volumes of work orders Proficient in cost management and financial reporting within Repairs & Maintenance or Quantity Surveying Skilled in working with sub-contractors at varying levels Capable of manipulating and presenting data using Excel Dedicated to delivering accurate and timely financial reports Here just a few of the benefits for working at Peabody: 25 days’ annual holiday plus bank holidays Two additional paid volunteering days each year Flexible benefits scheme, including family friendly benefits and access to a discount portal 4 x salary life assurance Up to 10% pension contribution Are you ready to apply?
