The Compliance division prevents, detects and mitigates compliance, regulatory and reputational risk across the firm and helps to strengthen the firm’s culture of compliance through an enterprise-wide compliance risk management program. As an independent control function and part of the firm’s second line of defense, Compliance assesses compliance risks, monitors adherence to laws and regulations, designs and implements controls, policies and training, conducts independent testing, investigates and monitors for breaches, and leads responses to regulatory examinations and inquiries.

This role is based in London within the Asset Management Compliance team. The successful candidate will provide Compliance advisory services covering sales and marketing activities within Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GS AM). Key responsibilities include reviewing marketing collateral to ensure conformity with financial promotion regulations and jurisdiction restrictions, managing sales and marketing regulatory requests, enhancing the compliance program in line with regulatory reforms, conducting surveillance and forensic reviews, delivering compliance training, and assisting in drafting and updating compliance policies.

Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing compliance
- Demonstrated interest in financial markets, asset management and managing conduct risk
