About the Role
Global Tax is a team of specialists responsible for managing the firm’s worldwide taxes. The team analyzes and supports the activities, operations, reporting obligations, and transactions of the firm’s business lines to ensure tax consequences and reputational risks are appropriately evaluated. This role offers the opportunity to advise the firm’s front office, primarily the alternative investments platform within Goldman Sachs Asset Management. The business invests across the full spectrum of alternatives including private equity, growth equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, hedge funds, and sustainability.
This position involves significant interaction with business and Global Tax colleagues and requires strong transaction management skills. It is ideal for a self-starter excited by working in a fast-paced environment and eager to contribute to the firm’s success through creative and collaborative efforts with strong ethics and attention to detail.

Experience
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification tax experience at a leading firm
- Strong technical UK tax knowledge
- Experience with cross-border transactions and structuring, including knowledge of tax regimes in other European jurisdictions and the USA (US experience preferred but not required)
