About the Role
The Alternative Equity Products team is part of the Equity Capital Markets group within the EMEA CSG team at Goldman Sachs. The team focuses on three main verticals: Equity Private Placements, involving minority stakes in unlisted or private companies often with a path to IPO; Equity-Linked Financing, assisting clients in issuing bonds convertible into shares, providing investors exposure to both debt and equity performance; and Private Investments in Public Entities (PIPEs), where committed equity capital is placed with a small group of private investors. The team primarily serves corporates and institutions seeking financing to support their organic or inorganic growth strategies. As a member of this small, dynamic team, you will be involved in all aspects of the business including pitching, pricing, liaising with internal committees, and collaborating with sales and investors. This role offers the opportunity to lead multiple workstreams and gain broad experience across various areas of the business.

Experience
Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of relevant work experience

About you
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong analytical orientation with experience performing financial and valuation analysis using Excel or comparable spreadsheet tools
Demonstrated maturity to work effectively with professionals at all levels within the firm and with external clients
Good judgment to make quick and complex decisions
