As a Compliance Manager on the Product and User Enablement (ProUse) team, you will be a trusted compliance advisor to first line business teams such as GTM, Risk, and Ops. Your role is critical in scaling our crypto and stablecoin business globally by embedding compliance intelligence directly into our technical infrastructure. You will bridge Stripe’s compliance obligations with users’ ambitious goals, moving away from manual, person-dependent models toward dynamic, automated compliance solutions.

You will provide expert guidance on complex user challenges, partner with cross-functional teams to design compliant user solutions, and help Stripe operate responsibly within the financial ecosystem. This role requires comfort navigating both technology and financial services environments, working quickly and strategically in an ambiguous, fast-paced setting.

Experience
- 9+ years in financial crimes compliance, with significant experience in crypto and stablecoin compliance.
- Strong technical understanding to identify automation opportunities and develop agentic compliance solutions.
- Proven ability to evaluate complex user requests and collaborate with business stakeholders to enable users while meeting compliance requirements.
- Experience working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and applying first-principles thinking to regulatory challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate complex compliance concepts into clear, commercial language.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, including working effectively with leadership and diverse teams.

Qualifications
- CAMS, CRCM, or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Experience in hyper-growth tech or fintech companies is desirable.
- Working knowledge of crypto regulatory frameworks, AML/sanction practices, and compliance matters relevant to Stripe.
- Understanding of leveraging LLMs or automated AI tools to scale compliance work is advantageous.
