About the Role
Framestore, a multi-Oscar-winning creative Film & Episodic Studio, collaborates with some of the greatest storytellers in film today. As a Compositor at Framestore London, you will be an integral part of the creative process, working closely with Compositing Leads, Supervisors, and VFX Supervisors to bring assigned shots to life. Your role involves integrating 2D, 3D, and live-action elements to achieve high-end film visual effects standards. You will balance the creative and technical elements of each shot using your expertise in Nuke, while ensuring projects stay on track by meeting schedules and deadlines. Maintaining clear communication with Production is essential to the role. Start dates are anticipated for August 2026. Please note that only UK-based candidates will be considered.

Experience
Excellent working knowledge of and production experience with Nuke.
Experience working with multiple render passes.
Strong eye for detail, composition, colour, and lighting.
Understanding of colour space principles.
Excellent organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Pro-active and collaborative work ethic.
Ability to multitask, prioritise, and problem-solve.

Desirable Experience
Knowledge of practical lighting for photography.
Understanding of the overall VFX pipeline.
Experience in client communication.
Programming and coding experience.
