About the Role
The Financial Times (FT) is a globally recognised news organisation known for its authority, integrity and accuracy. FT Live brings FT journalism to life through a global portfolio of in-person, digital and hybrid events. As a Graduate Content Editor, you will work across FT Live's industry portfolios, researching and developing new event launches while managing content for one to three events annually, with potential for more as the portfolio grows. This role offers the opportunity to develop high-quality event programmes, secure influential speakers and collaborate with editorial, sponsorship, project management, marketing and social media teams. You will be responsible for producing innovative, engaging programmes for multi-sponsor B2B events, maintaining editorial quality and integrity, and supporting event delivery and promotion. The role requires curiosity about global business and current affairs, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, write and produce high-quality programmes for in-person, digital and hybrid events
- Collaborate with FT editorial to ensure programme quality and relevance
- Research, invite and confirm senior speakers and subject-matter experts
- Liaise with FT journalists who chair or moderate events
- Partner with sponsorship teams to support content deliverables
- Create editorial proposals for sponsorship sales packs and pitches
- Support project management in event delivery and collateral production
- Produce original copy for email campaigns, advertisements and marketing materials
- Collaborate with social media teams to manage event-related content
- Support speaker liaison and on-the-day content delivery including live streaming
- Produce post-event materials such as thank-you emails and event summaries
- Work with FT editorial colleagues to integrate FT digital content into events
- Contribute to new ideas for global, multi-sponsored events

Experience
- Strong research, writing and editing skills with excellent written and spoken English
- Experience in B2B or B2C events, conference production, editorial content or related environments is desirable
- Experience supporting new event launches or contributing to event growth is advantageous
- Familiarity with event marketing, digital events, live streaming or social media content production is a plus
