About the Role
The Financial Times (FT) is a globally recognised news organisation known for its authority, integrity and accuracy. FT Live brings the FT’s journalism to life through a global portfolio of in-person, digital and hybrid events. As a Graduate Content Editor, you will work across FT Live’s industry portfolios, helping to research and develop new event launches while managing content for one to three events annually, with potential for more as the portfolio grows. This role offers the opportunity to develop high-quality event programmes, secure influential speakers and collaborate with editorial, sponsorship, project management, marketing and social media teams. You will be curious about global business and current affairs, highly organised, and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment.
Key responsibilities include researching, writing and producing innovative programmes for multi-sponsor B2B events; working closely with FT editorial to maintain programme quality and integrity; inviting and confirming senior speakers; liaising with FT journalists; supporting sponsorship content deliverables; creating original copy for marketing materials; collaborating with social media teams; supporting speaker liaison and on-the-day content delivery; producing post-event materials; leveraging FT digital content across events; and contributing to new event ideas and development.

Experience
Strong research, writing and editing skills with excellent written and spoken English. Experience in B2B or B2C events, conference production, editorial content or related environments is desirable. Experience supporting new event launches or contributing to event growth is advantageous. Familiarity with event marketing, digital events, live streaming or social media content production is a plus.
