Description
Do you have experience in contract management with strong commercial awareness and budget management skills? Do you have a good understanding of procurement regulation and process? Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service and building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support service delivery? As a Contracts Manager with Peabody, you’ll be an integral part of our Contract Management function, contributing to the strategic administration and management of our property services contracts. You’ll monitor and manage works in progress, liaising with partners to ensure timely completion, and addressing any issues or escalations effectively and work collaboratively with the wider Repairs & Maintenance directorate to improve data quality and support a shift towards proactive property management. You’ll support the Senior Contract Manager and regional operational teams in managing supply chain partners, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met, value for money is achieved, and quality standards are maintained. You’ll use your networking, negotiation and influencing skills to enhance efficiencies and improve value for money across contracts. You’ll need to be in the office for two days per week and the remaining time you’ll be on site or working remotely. You’re an excellent communicator who can prepare and deliver persuasive, high-quality reports. You’ll build strong effective relationships with partnering and in-house contractors, external agencies and other departments to ensure services are delivered and maintained at agreed levels, and you’re a collaborative team player, who puts the interests of the organisation and its customer first. This role will require a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. To be successful in this role, you’re: experienced in building pathology and have specific experience of building maintenance. experienced in managing/delivering property services contracts knowledgeable of procurement regulation and process commercially aware with knowledge of budget management and planning and value for money knowledgeable of current health & safety and other legislation relevant to the role able to manage and build effective relationships with stakeholders At Peabody, our purpose is to help people flourish.
