About the Role
It is an exciting time to join Ealing Council. As the 3rd most populous and diverse borough in London, working here offers a unique opportunity to contribute towards improving local public services and making the borough an even better place for everyone. Our Council Plan 2026-30 focuses on tackling inequalities, creating good jobs, and addressing climate change.

In this role, you will be central to providing a joined-up analytical service to Adult Social Care, corporate performance teams, other Council departments, and statutory organisations. You will develop outstanding performance reports and analysis that shape decisions and solutions to challenges in adult social care, supporting CQC assessments, statutory returns, and continuous improvement.

You will work closely with the Operational Data Lead and Adult Social Care teams to understand their data needs and deliver consistent reports and insights. Collaboration with ICT and operational teams is key. You will also provide first-level system administration for the main customer index database, assist in resolving customer requests, system or project issues, and take ownership to progress these to resolution professionally and timely.

An eye for detail is essential as you collect, check, and produce complex data for Adult Services. Your ability to develop and communicate constructive insights confidently to senior management will support Adult Services in achieving great outcomes for the community.

Ealing Council is committed to creating good jobs, delivering on its connected communities agenda, and fostering equality, fairness, and inclusion. We welcome applications from all residents of the borough, particularly those entering the employment market early in their career or mid-career professionals currently underrepresented in our workforce.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience producing accurate and timely Adult Social Care statutory returns and surveys (e.g. SALT, CLD, SACE). Experience compiling cyclical operational reports and supporting data quality activities is essential. Familiarity with benchmarking analysis and delivering presentations to diverse audiences is required.

Proficiency in Power BI, Business Objects, and Microsoft applications is desirable. Experience with MOSAIC is also desirable.

About you
You will have excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. You are confident in communicating insights to senior management and working collaboratively across teams. You are proactive in resolving system or data issues and take ownership of your work.

You must have the right to work in the UK; evidence will be requested at interview.

Qualifications
No specific qualifications are stated; however, relevant experience and skills in data analysis, reporting, and system administration within Adult Social Care or similar environments are expected.
