About the Role

If you enjoy solving technical problems and turning data into reliable, usable information, this is an opportunity to apply your skills to work that supports reporting, analysis and service improvement. Working with Senior and Lead Data Engineers, analysts and business colleagues, you’ll develop and maintain data pipelines and integrations, bring agreed data sources into Snowflake and help keep our data accurate, secure and dependable. You’ll deliver defined technical work within agreed designs and standards, with guidance from senior colleagues on more complex decisions.
Key responsibilities include building, maintaining and improving data pipelines and integrations using approved tools and engineering practices; transforming, cleansing and validating data to meet agreed quality requirements for reporting and analysis; monitoring scheduled processes, investigating routine failures and escalating issues requiring specialist input; testing changes, maintaining version-controlled code and documenting data flows to ensure solutions can be supported and changed safely; working collaboratively with colleagues to understand requirements, deliver agreed outputs and identify practical opportunities for automation and improvement; and applying data governance, security and UK GDPR requirements to your daily work.
Working at Hyde means embracing our values of being customer driven, inclusive, collaborative and innovative. In this role, you will work openly with colleagues, take pride in the quality of your work and find practical ways to make our data processes more reliable and effective.
Why Join Hyde? We believe in supporting our colleagues to do their best work while building rewarding careers.
