Role Purpose:
In this fundamental role at our Day Opportunities Service, you will lead the daily operations, collaborating closely with the senior management team. This role is based in Pinner.
As part of your role, you will be an effective leader and support the delivery of the service lifecycle, including its strategic and operational goals. A person-centred approach to delivery of care is essential.
The ideal candidate will bring knowledge, experience, creativity, and progressive thinking to enhance and develop our service.
Key duties:
- Team management within a setting catering to children and adults with learning disabilities and autism.
- Providing Person-Centred Support.
- Day-to-day management of the service.
- Manage the service budget and participate in the annual budget planning process and monthly budget meetings.
- Project management.
Our ideal candidate:
- QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
- Experience of working with children & young people.
- Experience of leading & managing a team, ideally within a management role at least 2 years.
- Experience of caring for individuals with disabilities in a care setting.
- Understanding of the regulations and legislation within the care profession.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
