About the Role
At WSP, you have the opportunity to work on landmark projects that the world needs. As a Design Manager for Rail Stations, you will lead the delivery of multidiscipline station design and assurance submissions. Your responsibilities will include identifying and documenting design scope, requirements, processes, and outputs, as well as planning and forecasting design activities. You will deliver technical proposals for projects and allocate design, coordination, integration, interface, and assurance responsibilities in line with competence management processes. Coordination of design requirements, processes, and outputs will involve managing work by internal suppliers, external sub-consultants, surveyors, and stakeholder requirements. This role offers the chance to contribute to a global team dedicated to making a positive impact in communities worldwide.

Experience
- Working towards chartership membership status of a relevant engineering Institution
- Design management experience on rail station projects, including overall multidiscipline design leadership on at least one project
- Experience working within multidiscipline teams in a consultancy environment
- Technical coordination, interface management, and integration experience
- Preparation and submission of design assurance packages
- Rail industry experience
