Apple’s Worldwide Developer Relations team (WWDR) provides the services, resources and guidance that empower the world’s most dynamic developer community to push the boundaries of innovation and bring the next big app ideas to Apple’s platforms for customers worldwide. WWDR offers programs to help developers connect with experts, learn about the latest Apple tools and technologies, and adopt best practices to supercharge app development. We are seeking a creative and dedicated Technology Evangelist to join our WWDR team. You will work directly with developers to deliver fun and compelling apps and games experiences to our customers. This means working closely with world-class engineers and designers to help them understand how to build modern, state-of-the-art apps and games, leveraging advanced technologies like AIML and Spatial computing across all Apple platforms. You will collaborate with developers, developer communities, internal stakeholders and lead initiatives to help developers deliver magical experiences to users across Apple’s platforms. This role offers the chance of a lifetime to directly impact the architecture of apps and games enjoyed by people around the world every single day. In this role, you’ll help developers use the comprehensive set of platform frameworks, properly architect their code to take advantage of the latest improvements and newest APIs, and build optimized, high-performance software for Apple’s platforms.

Experience
Experience in Swift, Objective-C or other object-oriented programming languages. Experience with building visually engaging user interfaces using UIKit and SwiftUI. Previous experience within an app development role is beneficial. Experience in developing immersive and AR spatial applications. Experience with Enterprise visionOS applications and use cases. Proven experience with coding techniques and best practices for energy saving, performance optimization, security, accessibility and localisation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experienced at presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Deep understanding of Apple’s technology and software development tools and platforms. Deep understanding of AIML, associated developer frameworks and broad understanding of alternative tools, technologies and approaches to ML. Robust understanding of the differences between LLMs and SLMs and their application to mobile and desktop computing use cases. Ability to design intuitive user interfaces and optimize user experience in line with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and design patterns. Ability to build strong internal and external relationships to effectively communicate Apple’s platform message and benefits to developers. A strong understanding of Apple’s graphics stack is a huge plus but not essential.

Qualifications
Degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or equivalent work experience.
