About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Service Strategy and Transformation Directorate within the Ministry of Justice on a 12-month fixed-term basis with the possibility of extension or permanency. The Diary Manager will support a minimum of three Deputy Directors by managing daily and strategic diary planning, ensuring efficient scheduling aligned with priorities and adapting to last-minute changes. The role includes preparing daily diary packs, managing correspondence and invitations, supporting decision-making through inbox monitoring, and building strong relationships across the Department to facilitate collaboration and early issue identification. This position offers a hybrid working model and flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance.
The Directorate focuses on driving collaboration across the Service Transformation Group, supporting digital innovation to enhance the criminal justice experience, identifying transformation opportunities, and delivering strategic priorities over the next 3-5 years. The Diary Manager will play a key role in enabling the Deputy Directors to operate effectively within this dynamic environment.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Diary Manager, Personal Assistant, or similar role supporting senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and engagement skills.
- Experience working collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications
- No specific qualifications required, but experience in Private Office environments or digital/transformation backgrounds is desirable.
- Eligibility for Security Clearance (SC) requiring continuous UK residency for the past 5 years.
