About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the London Borough of Harrow's Public Health team in a newly created role that will play a key part in improving health and wellbeing across the borough. As the Digital Engagement Lead, you will lead the development and delivery of strategic communications, marketing and digital engagement activity across the Harrow Borough-Based Partnership, helping residents access clear, trusted and accessible health information while promoting healthier behaviours and reducing health inequalities. Drawing together the expertise and resources of local government, the NHS and voluntary sector partners, you will ensure that communications and engagement activity supports shared health and wellbeing priorities and delivers meaningful impact for Harrow residents.

Working collaboratively with senior leaders, programme leads and partners, you will lead the development of partnership-wide communications strategies, campaigns and digital engagement initiatives. You will oversee the ongoing development of the Healthy Harrow platform and associated digital channels, ensuring they provide high-quality, accessible and engaging content that connects residents with the services and support they need. Using audience insight, data and evaluation, you will continually improve campaign performance and help maximise engagement with key public health priorities.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an innovative and motivated professional who is passionate about using digital engagement to improve outcomes for local communities. You will have the autonomy to shape and influence communications across the local health and care system, lead impactful campaigns and build strong partnerships that support prevention, health improvement and wellbeing. Harrow Council is committed to innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement, making this an ideal role for someone looking to make a lasting difference to residents while helping to create a healthier, more connected borough.
