About the Role
The London Borough of Harrow is seeking passionate and dedicated Early Support Practitioners to join our Early Support Service. You will work with children, young people and families from pre-birth to 25 years, delivering high-quality early intervention and preventative support. Your role will help families build resilience, improve wellbeing and achieve better outcomes through individual support, group work, parenting programmes and health and education activities. Working within a skilled and supportive multi-disciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with children, young people, parents, carers and partner organisations to identify needs, create opportunities and deliver evidence-based interventions.

You will contribute to planning and delivering engaging activities, supporting families to access services, promoting safeguarding and inclusion, and working across Children’s Centres, Youth Services and community settings. Depending on your grade and level of responsibility, you may undertake key worker functions, complete Early Support Needs Analyses, lead targeted interventions and support families facing more complex challenges. Requirements

Experience
Experience working with children, young people and families in early support or related settings is desirable. Ability to deliver evidence-based interventions and group programmes is important. Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams and community settings is advantageous.

Qualifications
- Early years care and education vocational qualification Level 3 or above, with a commitment to study to Level 4 and above
- Level 2/3 Certificate in Youth Work or equivalent relevant qualification or experience
- Relevant professional qualifications or equivalent experience in early support or related fields
