About the Role
Immediate Media Co is home to some of the UK's most beloved consumer brands, including Radio Times, Good Food and BBC Gardeners World magazine. Our trusted, quality content reaches millions monthly across digital, print, video, podcasts, apps and live events. We inspire, fuel, encourage and educate audiences, helping them enjoy everything from fitness goals to good food, gardening and the latest TV sensations.
The Digital & Multimedia Director joins Radio Times at a pivotal moment in its 100-year publishing journey. This senior leadership role will drive the brand's evolution from platform-siloed editorial production to an integrated, multimedia-first operating model. You will foster a collaborative, high-performing culture combining editorial excellence with innovation and operational discipline, overseeing technical and creative transformation aligned with audience consumption while maintaining the brand’s authentic identity, editorial integrity and audience trust.
Working closely with the Editorial Director and senior editorial team, you will ensure market-leading content reaches audiences in the right formats, on the right platforms, supported by insight and efficient production models. This role requires a deep understanding of the editorial mindset—how stories are commissioned, created, edited, packaged and trusted by audiences.
You will lead talented teams to build strong ideas into deeper audience relationships across print, web, app, video, audio, social and emerging platforms. You will articulate the need for change, bring colleagues along, listen to editorial concerns and create practical workflows that simplify delivering high-quality multimedia content.
This role provides leadership, structure and expertise in digital and multimedia growth, collaborating with editors, creators, production, product, commercial and technology teams. Clear decision-making and strategic vision are essential to success.

- Commercially aware and highly data literate, able to translate audience insight and performance analytics into strategic action.
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels, from defining vision to improving workflows and delivery.
