About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Transformation team within the Corporate Services Directorate as Digital Transformation Manager on a maternity cover basis. You will manage a portfolio of projects delivering meaningful change to staff and residents at Sutton Housing Partnership (SHP). A key focus will be the implementation of a new customer-facing portal enabling residents to raise repairs and manage appointments online. Additionally, you will improve the internal user experience by collaborating with the business to design process maps for CRM and other NEC functionality.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing digital projects, comfortable with project schedules, KPIs, user acceptance testing, and stakeholder engagement across SHP and the council. Experience in digital projects within the housing sector is essential, with an understanding of the challenges faced by both staff and residents. Knowledge of Repairs processes, data structures, and NEC Housing is highly beneficial.
SHP is committed to delivering excellent services to residents, enabling families and households to be safe in their homes, sustain tenancies, and lead healthy, rewarding lives.

About the Borough
With a workforce of around two hundred colleagues, SHP is small enough to be friendly yet large enough to offer career development opportunities. Based in Sutton Town Centre with excellent transport links in and out of London, colleagues engage with residents in the borough and beyond. SHP’s strength lies in the knowledge, experience, and commitment of its staff to deliver outstanding services.

Our Offer to You
We value our colleagues and strive to reward them fairly through SHP’s pay and reward systems, ensuring pay reflects individual responsibilities. We promote a good work-life balance and offer key benefits including:
- Membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme with employee contributions between 5.5% and 12% and a Sutton Housing Partnership contribution rate of 18.4% from 1 April 2025
- Annual leave of 28 or 33 days per year plus paid bank holidays
- Simply Health Cash Plan for dental, optical, consultations, and scans cashback
- Employee benefits such as cycle to work scheme and various discount schemes
- Employee Assistance Programme providing confidential support 24/7
- Investment in learning and development through e-learning and instructor-led training, with opportunities for external training aligned to individual and strategic needs

Application Process
Please ensure you meet the essential criteria outlined in the job profile before applying. Complete the online application form and include a supporting statement addressing how you meet the criteria. The closing date is indicative; early application is advised as the vacancy may close once sufficient applications are received.
All applications are anonymised to reduce bias and promote fairness. Interview panels are encouraged to be diverse. SHP guarantees to interview all disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria and ensures an inclusive and accessible recruitment process.

Diversity and Inclusion
SHP is proud to be a diverse and welcoming organisation, striving to reflect the community it serves and foster a sense of belonging among staff. We celebrate differences and welcome applications from underrepresented groups.
