About the Role
At Apple, we don’t just create products — we create the kind of wonder that has revolutionised entire industries. It is the diversity of our people and their ideas that inspire the innovation that runs through everything we do, from amazing technology to industry-leading environmental efforts. Join Apple and help us leave the world better than we found it. This role places you in a highly-energised environment with some of the most talented individuals in the industry where you will be inspired to share your years of experience and provide extraordinary support for the team. The Education Sales Leader sits within the UK Sales Team and is responsible for developing, leading, and executing Apple’s Education sales strategy across the UK and Ireland. You will guide a team of Education experts to deliver fiscal, unit, and market-share goals, holding expertise and accountability for the Education route to market, including sustained, senior-level engagement with government and public-sector stakeholders across England and the devolved nations (Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland), whose policy and funding decisions shape that route to market.
The role spans a broad range of sales initiatives, working closely with Apple central EMEIA stakeholders including Finance, Sales Planning & Operations, Channel & Sales Development, Apple Retail, Legal, Business Markets, People, and the Worldwide Education Leadership Team. You will lead by example across the country, embracing a high-profile presence, acting as part of an extended sales team, influencing resources and sales program allocation for Education. You will demonstrate influence with the Education EMEIA Worldwide teams’ strategy setting, ensuring the region’s needs are reflected.
You will identify, develop and scale new growth opportunities, translating global and regional strategy into measurable commercial outcomes for the UK and Ireland. Channel Sales Management is a key responsibility — owning and driving senior-executive relationships with Apple’s Channel Partners, ensuring alignment on strategy, performance and joint business planning across the Education channel. You will also own and drive senior government and public-sector engagement across England and the devolved administrations, building relationships with education ministries, agencies and policy bodies in the context of Apple’s Education strategy.
Developing and influencing routes to market that enable Education customers to purchase and deploy Apple technology at scale is essential, including through public procurement, national frameworks, strategic partnerships and system-level initiatives. You will conduct recurring reviews with EMEIA Education and North Sales Leadership, central and local Finance, and Regional Sales Directors on performance against objectives. Budget Management is also a critical part of the role — you will be accountable for creation, timely submission, approval, execution and subsequent return on investment measurement of OPEX and BDF funds.
Team Management and Development is fundamental — you will lead the UK & Ireland team to ensure that objectives are clear, achieved and each team member develops to maximise their potential.
