About the Role
We are seeking suitably qualified, motivated, and innovative Educational Psychologists who are passionate about improving the social, emotional, and educational lives of children and young people through collaborative work as part of our friendly and supportive team. Our primary aim is to use high quality, evidence-based applied psychology to enable all children and young people to achieve their maximum potential and become confident and emotionally healthy individuals.
As a member of the team, you will be encouraged to develop and build on your skills, knowledge, and interests to contribute to the service offer and strategic development. The service is committed to professional development and supports ongoing training. We maintain close links with university courses and have excellent relationships with educational settings and partner services across Children’s Services, CAMHS, and other well-being and mental health services.
The Haringey Educational Psychology Service is a dynamic, highly qualified team offering effective applied psychology to children, young people, and those who support them. Our service is part-traded, commissioned by schools and partner agencies including Public Health and the Virtual School Team. We collaborate within the GEMHS Mental Health Support Team partnership to support emotional wellbeing across a range of schools.
Our practice includes consultation, assessment, intervention, research, evaluation, training, and systemic work with settings. Opportunities exist to innovate and deliver psychological input into projects such as parenting and family work, Early Years and School age ELSA training, therapeutic interventions including CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and sleep consultations. We are involved in multi-agency projects aimed at keeping children in school and reducing crime, as well as supporting refugee, migrant, and asylum seeker families.
We are looking to grow our team and develop our local Experts at Hand Offer in line with the 2026 SEND reforms.

Experience
Experience delivering psychological services, including statutory and non-statutory work, across a range of settings to support children, young people, schools, and families is required.

Qualifications
