About the Role
Brent is a vibrant London borough known for its diversity and dynamic community. We are seeking passionate and resilient individuals to join our Emergency Housing Placement Team as Emergency Housing Officers. In this fast-paced and impactful role, you will help individuals and families facing homelessness by placing them in suitable emergency accommodation.

You will conduct suitability assessments on homelessness applicants, search for and identify appropriate accommodation ensuring all housing compliance requirements are met, and allocate accommodations while completing all necessary booking processes.

This frontline role requires working on a rota basis from our offices in Wembley and Harlesden, with flexibility to work from home on some days. Knowledge and experience in the temporary accommodation sector is essential, though training will be provided to support your success.

Experience
Essential experience working in the homelessness or temporary accommodation sector. Familiarity with Housing IT software is highly desirable.

Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset are essential. You should be proactive, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications
There are no specific qualification requirements for this position; however, relevant housing or social care qualifications would be advantageous. A commitment to ongoing learning and development is expected.
