About the Role
Ealing Council has an exciting opportunity for an Employer Engagement Officer to join the Ealing Borough Apprenticeship Scheme (EBAS), a new initiative designed to support local businesses in growing while creating inclusive, high-quality apprenticeship and employment opportunities, particularly for Ealing residents. EBAS works across priority sectors to drive workforce development, social value, and economic regeneration, making a real difference to businesses and communities.

As the Employer Engagement Officer, you will champion EBAS by building strong partnerships with employers, leading proactive engagement, brokering membership and service packages, and supporting businesses to design inclusive recruitment and training solutions. This role offers a unique chance to work closely with employers to help shape the future of skills and employment in Ealing.

Your key responsibilities will include building and maintaining a robust employer network across Ealing’s priority sectors, supporting workforce planning and inclusive recruitment practices, promoting EBAS benefits and brokering service packages, facilitating social value opportunities such as mentoring and work experience, and representing EBAS at business forums and sector events.

Experience
