Mencap have an exciting opportunity for an Employment Relationship Manager to join our established Lifestyles and Work division. The role is a full time (37.5 hrs per week) permanent contact. and will be home based but will be required to travel to our delivery sites across our 3 clusters, London, West Midlands and Northamptonshire. Our preference is that you will live in or near London (as a large amount of the work will be there) or one of the cluster areas. Do you have the skills to be our next Employment Relationship Manager? - You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with employers that enable Mencap to support people with a learning disability into paid work. - You will work collaboratively with the Head of Development to produce an employer engagement strategy and will take responsibility for data capture and reporting related to employers and job outcomes. - We are looking for someone who can communicate confidently and effectively at all levels, and who can deliver high quality awareness sessions and support employers to develop an understanding of how to employ people with a learning disability. - You will have strong experience in collecting, recording and analysing data, and producing reports in accordance with the employers' requests and in a way that provides meaningful data for Mencap to use to inform future work. Whilst there is no direct line management responsibility the successful Employment Relationship Manager will work with employment teams across the division, to ensure a consistently high standard of engagement with employers at a local level is maintained across all Mencap’s work.
