We have an opportunity for an Employment Caseworker to join our Employ Me team to deliver one of our schools programmes to schools across the London Borough Kingston upon Thames. This role is full time (37.5 hours per week) contracted until the end of July 2024. Mencap's Employ Me team provides supported employment programmes for people with a learning disability and autism. The Employ Me Schools Programme is a funded project that provides support to young adults with SEND to explore the world of work through access to a 10 week employability skills programme delivered in their educational setting. The successful Employment Caseworker will directly support people with a learning disability, autism and special educational needs (SEND) in education settings, delivering employability sessions. You will work collaboratively with schools to identify learners to take part in our schools programme, delivering employability sessions. In this role you will build positive relationships with new schools to support the ongoing delivery of the Employ Me Schools programme. It is essential that all candidates offered an interview for this role will need to provide evidence of their GCSE English and Math (or equivalent) at interview stage.
