A little more about your role… Interpretation of client specification requirements in the development of designs. Design of pipework including heating, cooling, hot and cold water systems. Design of ventilation systems including general ventilation systems. Selection of plant and equipment items based upon designs produced including but not limited to Air Handling Units, Fans, Pumps, Pressurisation Units, Boilers, Heat emitters, Chillers, Ductwork and ductwork ancillaries, Pipework and pipework ancillaries.

Experience
Proven experience of mechanical design in the Rail environment.

About you
Ability to interpret client specifications and develop compliant designs. Familiarity with Network Rail and/or London Underground standards. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design and controls/BMS for mechanical systems.

Qualifications
Qualifications meeting the requirements for Chartership with a UK Engineering Institution.
Working knowledge of the design of above ground plumbing and waste systems, rainwater disposal systems, and drainage systems.
