About the Role
Join the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) Engineering Graduate Programme starting September 2027 and launch your career in global financial markets technology. This 12-month development programme offers a fast-track technical journey where you will learn and work alongside industry experts in a leading fintech company. You will build foundational skills through a global induction 'Engineering Bootcamp', participate in group projects aligned with LSEG goals, and attend a mid-point offsite event called ‘Ignite’ to enhance your skills. The programme includes opportunities to earn industry-recognized qualifications and connect with a global early careers community. From day one, you will be aligned to a division that matches your skills and interests, with ongoing support to explore different areas within LSEG. The role focuses on Cloud Engineering with an emphasis on Python and public cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. You will contribute to delivering software used by some of the world’s biggest companies in a dynamic agile environment.

Recruitment Process
The recruitment process includes submitting an application and resume, completing technical and coding assessments, an immersive online assessment, a strength-based video interview, and a half-day virtual assessment centre involving various exercises. Early application is recommended as candidates are considered on a rolling basis and the application may close earlier than the stated deadline of 16th November.

Experience
Final year undergraduate or Masters student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline, completing all course requirements before August/September 2027, or a fresh graduate from the class of 2026. Experience or interest in Cloud Engineering, Python programming, and public cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is preferred. Demonstrable interest in technology through work experience, internships, extracurricular activities, or academic projects is essential. Experience or interest in financial markets, data analysis, and strategic thinking is advantageous.

Curious and passionate about technology with a desire to pursue a career in this field. Able to understand the role of technology within a large organisation and its impact on clients. Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and propose solutions. Resilient, focused, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Eligible to work in the UK without restrictions for the duration of the programme and able to join on a permanent basis from day one. Candidates from diverse academic backgrounds including physics, engineering, and electronics who demonstrate an interest in technology through extracurriculars, work experience, or personal projects are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Informatics, Physics, Engineering, Electronics or related disciplines. Completion of all course requirements before programme start date. No specific certifications required, but opportunities to earn industry-recognized qualifications are provided during the programme.
