About the Role
Join the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) as a Senior DevOps Engineer within the SwapClear team, the world’s leading interest rate derivatives clearing platform. You will be based in London and work in a hybrid model, contributing to the design, implementation, and leadership of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks that support global financial markets. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-performance platforms that ensure the safety, transparency, and efficiency of the global financial system. You will be a subject matter expert in DevOps technologies, providing technical support, mentoring team members, and driving innovation through AI-assisted engineering capabilities. Your work will directly impact the resilience and trustworthiness of SwapClear’s infrastructure, supporting major banks, financial institutions, and asset managers worldwide.

Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in DevOps and Cloud technologies
- Proven expertise with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab and Jenkins
- Skilled in infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible and Terraform
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, and AKS
- Proficient in monitoring and performance optimisation tools such as DataDog
- Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, Shell, or PowerShell
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience in financial services or investment banking environments preferred
- Knowledge of SQL/PL-SQL optimisation and scheduling tools like Control-M is desirable
- Exposure to AI/ML-powered tooling or automation frameworks is a plus
- Experience with on-premises to cloud migration is preferred

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
