About the Role
Join the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) as a Senior DevOps Engineer within the SwapClear team, the world’s leading interest rate derivatives clearing platform. You will be a key contributor to the design, implementation, and leadership of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks that support critical financial market infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-performance platforms that underpin global financial markets, driving innovation through automation and AI-assisted engineering capabilities. You will collaborate closely with development teams, mentor colleagues, and lead initiatives to modernise DevOps practices, ensuring operational excellence, security, and compliance across environments. Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in DevOps and Cloud technologies
- Proven expertise with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab and Jenkins
- Skilled in infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible and Terraform
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, and AKS
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as DataDog
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, and Shell
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools or automation frameworks is a plus
- Experience in financial services or investment banking environments preferred
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Exposure to on-premises to cloud migration projects is advantageous
- Knowledge of SQL/PL-SQL optimisation and scheduling tools like Control-M is desirable
