About the Role
Are you an experienced data scientist passionate about productionising AI solutions? Join London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) as a Senior Applied Data Scientist and help build innovative AI-driven solutions for financial markets and professionals. You will lead the development of scalable, high-impact AI models, moving beyond prototypes to production systems. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic oversight in a collaborative environment focused on continuous innovation and development. You will work closely with software engineers and multi-disciplinary teams to define project requirements, establish development roadmaps, and ensure delivery of robust, maintainable AI solutions aligned with business goals. Experience
Extensive experience applying data science methods to solve real-world problems with a proven track record of deploying AI models and solutions to production. Strong statistical analysis skills with a foundation in probability. Proficiency in Object-Oriented programming in Python and expertise in key data science and machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn. Expertise in cloud technologies, particularly Azure and/or AWS, and deployment practices. Proven ability to establish and uphold coding standards for high-quality, maintainable code. Excellent communication skills to clearly convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
