About the Role
Join the Risk Intelligence division within London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), a key team dedicated to providing critical insights and solutions that help clients manage and mitigate risk. As a Principal - Cloud Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in the Digital Identity & Fraud Engineering team, driving the technical direction of our products to ensure the use of appropriate technologies that deliver customer value and operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with enterprise teams to align technical choices with overall product architecture and mentor team members to build capabilities that support successful delivery. This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic data architecture decisions, lead adoption of cloud services, and contribute to innovative solutions in a global financial markets environment.

Experience
- 12+ years of proven experience implementing on-premises and cloud data management, integration, visualization, and analytical technologies
- Advanced proficiency in end-to-end data architecture solutions including ingestion, storage, and relational modeling using SQL and Python
- Demonstrated expertise in modern data architectures and cloud services such as AWS, Azure, GCP
- Experience with real-time data distribution technologies like Kafka, Kinesis, DataFlow, Airflow
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases including MongoDB, DynamoDB, HBase, CosmosDB
- Familiarity with GraphQL and modern data warehouse tools such as Snowflake and DataBricks
- Ability to assess and recommend data governance standards including MDM, security, privacy, and policies
