About the Role
LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) is undertaking a significant programme as part of its Engineering Strategy to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Architecture Governance processes. This role focuses on applying technology, including AI, to streamline governance workflows and ensure high design quality. It is ideal for someone with a strong technical engineering and/or architecture background who is interested in hands-on delivery of technology solutions to complex business challenges. Engineering Governance is a critical function at LSEG, and this position offers the opportunity to help define, build, and operate the next generation of governance processes, supporting LSEG’s leadership in financial industry solutions.

What You'll Be Doing
Defining and implementing engineering governance processes to ensure efficient architecture governance. Ensuring LSEG products comply with best practices and internal standards. Building governance processes using AI and low/no code platforms such as Microsoft PowerApps, and developing supporting collateral. Operating governance processes including tooling support, delivering training, managing CIO and Group Level Architecture Review Board forums with senior engineering leaders, and assembling outcomes and actions. Promoting engineering governance and quality standards across the enterprise.

Experience
Strong background in software engineering and/or architecture. Experience with Microsoft PowerApps development. Proven ability to apply emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance governance capabilities. Demonstrated analytical skills and a proactive approach to solving complex challenges.

Comfortable responding quickly to operational issues and open to feedback for continuous improvement. Collaborative team player with a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset. Qualifications
Degree or equivalent and/or relevant professional qualification. Understanding of engineering and technology architecture. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working across architecture, engineering, and governance teams.
