About the Role
Our Engineering Summer Internship Programme has been crafted to simulate our Engineering Graduate Programme, giving you a real insight into a technology career at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). The programme runs for 9 weeks during summer 2027 and offers penultimate year undergraduates studying STEM subjects the opportunity to explore various career paths within our D&A, Markets, Risk Intelligence, FTSE Russell, and I&C Engineering functions. Roles vary from development and programming to business analysis and tech project management. During recruitment, we assess your skills and interests to place you in the right team. As a summer intern, you will contribute meaningfully to our organisation’s success, gaining hands-on experience similar to that of a graduate.

Experience
Penultimate year undergraduate studying a STEM subject (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics) due to complete degree summer 2028. Demonstrated interest in technology through work experience, extracurricular activities, or academic projects. Familiarity with coding, computing societies, or technology-focused university projects is advantageous.

Curious about data with strong analytical skills to draw conclusions and propose solutions. Creative thinker able to connect the dots. Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a relevant STEM degree programme with expected completion in summer 2028. No additional qualifications required beyond your degree and enthusiasm to learn.

Recruitment Process
1. Application submission including resume.
2. Technical and coding assessment evaluating coding ability, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
3. Untimed immersive online assessment providing insight into working at LSEG.
4. Strength-based video interview.
5. Virtual half-day assessment centre with multiple exercises (details provided upon invitation).
