FT Live, the conferences and events division of the Financial Times, delivers over 200 events, strategic forums and digital webinars annually. These bring together senior public- and private-sector decision-makers, visionaries and strategists from key global economies and industries. From flagship experiences like the FTWeekend Festival to senior-level business summits such as the award-winning Global Boardroom, FT Live is one of the FT Group's fastest-growing and most successful divisions.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Event Operations Executive to support the delivery of our portfolio of in-person, digital and hybrid events. Working closely with Event Managers and colleagues across FT Live, you will coordinate event logistics, digital delivery and audio-visual requirements. This permanent role is ideal for candidates at an early stage of their events career.

Requirements

Experience
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work
- Confidence working with numbers, budgets and invoices
- Interest in international conferences, events and digital event delivery
- Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally when required

About you
- Proactive approach with confidence to take ownership of tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond calmly to changing priorities
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliers
- Ability to learn new systems, processes and technical skills quickly

Qualifications
- A degree or equivalent experience in Event Management, International Event Management or a related field is desirable
- Previous experience supporting live, digital or hybrid events is advantageous
- Familiarity with webinar platforms, event-management systems or basic video-editing tools is preferred
- Experience working with event suppliers, venues or production partners is beneficial
