About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving and dynamic service and play a key role in developing and embedding relational systemic practice across Camden’s Children and Learning services.

As a Family Systemic Psychotherapist, you will work alongside practitioners, social workers and managers to strengthen systemic practice and support high-quality interventions with children and families. Your work will include specialist systemic assessments of complex cases, direct work with children and families, consultation, supervision, coaching and mentoring, as well as supporting practitioners to develop their systemic skills.

You will bring your expertise to complex and challenging situations, helping colleagues develop thoughtful, evidence-based interventions that improve outcomes for children and families. You will also contribute to embedding systemic approaches across supervision, assessments and network meetings, influencing and developing practice across the wider service.

Experience
Significant post-qualification experience delivering therapeutic interventions within a statutory setting.
Experience working with complex cases and situations of significant challenge.
Experience of teaching, coaching and delivering workshops.

About you
Experienced Family Systemic Psychotherapist with a postgraduate qualification in systemic psychotherapy and appropriate professional registration.
Strong understanding of children’s social care, relevant legislation, statutory guidance and systemic practice.
Confident in managing complexity and risk, using professional judgement and systemic expertise to support safeguarding and wellbeing outcomes.
Excellent communicator and collaborative practitioner skilled at building effective professional relationships, providing consultation and producing high-quality analytical and evidence-based reports.
Collaborative and reflective approach with a commitment to embedding relational systemic practice that makes a meaningful difference for children and families.

Qualifications
Postgraduate qualification in systemic psychotherapy and appropriate professional registration.
