Mencap is seeking a Finance Application Support Analyst to ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and enhancement of our finance applications. This vital role supports the finance department by resolving system-related issues and facilitating the optimal use of financial applications to improve business processes. This role will be full time (37.5) hours per week, Monday-Friday. The position will be on a fixed-term contract for 9 months. Mencap have a flexible working policy which allows candidates to work either from home or in one of our offices which are based in London and Peterborough. We are looking for people who can demonstrate logical thinking and have excellent interpersonal skills, building strong partnerships with stakeholders without direct line management. They exhibit strategic thinking by developing business cases and project plans to ensure systems remain fit for purpose. Organized and disciplined, they manage processes, governance, and project activities effectively. They can translate complex technical concepts into non-technical language, adhere to strict project timelines, and communicate concerns confidently. Proficiency in Excel, and PowerBI is essential.
