What we’re looking for: Are you a qualified accountant with significant post qualification experience? Do you possess prior experience in development finance? If so, this role is perfect for you! Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Finance Manager - JVs and Partnerships on a Temporary basis at our Westminster Bridge Road office. A bit about the role: As a Finance Manager - JVs and Partnerships, you will provide financial appraisal, reporting and business support for the Limited Liability Partnership’s (“LLP’s”) in the Group. The Peabody Group has a number of complex arrangements with Developer Partners to meet its housing targets, and Joint Ventures (“JVs”) offer access to a Developer’s supply chain and expertise, whilst reducing our exposure and amount of cash required.. Some of the key results for the role include: Offer first class support to Development Managers, Directors and the Executive Team on our Development Joint Venture portfolio. Primarily this will be ensuring our development appraisals are set up accurately, enabling decision making and identifying areas of improvement. Ensure all of our Joint Venture statutory accounts are signed off and approved by internal boards and directors in line with regulatory deadlines. This includes ensuring all accounting entries for Peabody are completed on time, accurate and understood. Work with external partners to improve schemes viabilities, support of administrative elements of our JVs, and present at JV pre boards and main JV boards. Provide information to a number of interested parties, through presentations and reports. This will be achieved by building a library of JV resources. Assist with the yearly budgeting and quarterly forecasting process. Line manage the team to ensure a consistent to provide a reliable service to stakeholders. A minimum of 1 to 2 days working in the Westminster Bridge Road office is required.
