About the Role

We are undergoing an exciting transformation, modernising financial systems, strengthening controls, and embedding efficiency across the organisation. As Finance Project Manager, you will lead strategic finance transformation projects that shape the future of Peabody’s finance function and enhance our social impact.
Your impact will include leading high-profile finance transformation initiatives, driving the selection and implementation of a cloud-based ERP system, and working closely with Finance Directors and IT teams to optimise processes and ensure robust financial governance. You will champion data integrity, facilitate workshops, provide tools to embed sustainable change, and contribute to the Finance Steering Committee to influence key decisions. Proactive risk management and clear project reporting will be essential to your success.

Experience
- Proven track record leading significant finance change projects, including project governance and frameworks
- Experience managing large-scale business change projects, ideally including cloud-based ERP implementations
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing people and/or project teams
- Background in finance operations with an understanding of scalable, effective processes
- Deep understanding of finance systems, data, and automation, including system integration
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma
- Project management expertise, with qualifications such as Prince 2 or equivalent experience

Qualifications
- Professional accounting qualification (CCAB or equivalent) or extensive relevant experience in finance transformation
