About the Role
The Financial Control Division (FCD) at UK Export Finance is a friendly, dynamic, and fast-paced team responsible for ensuring effective financial control processes. We coordinate the Department’s estimates, budgets, and forecasting processes, produce accurate monthly management accounts, annual accounts, and other published financial information. We manage bank accounts, purchase ledger, fixed asset registers, and the general ledger. We advise on accounting treatments, own the accounting policies, and collaborate across the organisation to implement large-scale changes in accounting policy, systems, and processes, including operationalising IFRS 9 and IFRS 17.
The Finance Systems Administrator will manage and maintain finance systems, primarily MS Dynamics (the General Ledger), with opportunities to cross-train on other Finance and Reporting applications. This role acts as the interface between end users and the project team, ensuring requirements are gathered, delivered, and tested effectively.
Main responsibilities include documenting configuration changes, liaising with subject matter experts and end users, managing master data and related processes, setting up and supporting users, monitoring interfaces and resolving errors, reconciling systems, supporting financial controls and reporting environments, managing system controls and user support, and identifying opportunities for system improvements. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team supporting a business at the heart of delivering government export and trade policy to strengthen the UK economy.
